Open Question: If Obama is elected is there time to liquidate you stocks to avoid Obama's capital gain tax?

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

Hypothetically let say Obama is elected this November. If I sell all of my stocks the next day will I be taxed the 15% under Bush’s plan or would I still have to pay Obama’s proposed huge tax increase?

Open Question: Did Garry Trudeau ever have to pay anyone for proving that Bush did if fact complete his Air Guard obligations?

Open Question: Character?…..Haven't Republican voters figured out yet what horrendous judges of character they are?

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

They voted in George W. Bush and yet continue to claim they are good judges of character!! And what about hypocrisy? Their “family values” core gave us the likes of Larry Craig, David Vitter, Vito Fossella, and Mark Foley!

Oh, yeah…..I’m sure going to trust the opinions of this unbelievable group of lamebrains and knuckleheads that are too busy driving around in their pickups shooting highway signs and small animals to have a clue about the really important issues facing the country.

Welcome to the White House, Senators Obama and Biden!

Open Question: Does anyone fall for Little McCain’s rhetoric about being the candidate for change?

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

Who is he kidding he has been part of the Republican machine for 20 years! His policies for the most part are Bush’s and have been failing us for the last 8 years. Look at the lost jobs just today? The only thing he has changed lately is his views on offshore drilling and Bush’s tax cuts and he switched to their view! Change what? He is status quo! It makes me laugh because he is basically saying the government that he has been aprt of for the last 8 years is failing so elect me so we can continue to do the same things hoping it will change for the good! Are Americans really that stupid?

I’m afraid the terrorist will attack us again. I’m so scared.
I have been buying stock piling food, water, gas and etc to last me for 5 years. I’m really scared when Bush is no longer in charged America will be weak.

Open Question: Did you know this about John McCain? ?

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

John McCain voted against establishing a national holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Now he says his position has “evolved,” yet he’s continued to oppose key civil rights laws.
According to Bloomberg News, McCain is more hawkish than Bush on Iraq, Russia and China. Conservative columnist Pat Buchanan says McCain “will make Cheney look like Gandhi.”
His reputation is built on his opposition to torture, but McCain voted against a bill to ban waterboarding, and then applauded President Bush for vetoing that ban.
McCain opposes a woman’s right to choose. He said, “I do not support Roe versus Wade. It should be overturned.”
The Children’s Defense Fund rated McCain as the worst senator in Congress for children. He voted against the children’s health care bill last year, then defended Bush’s veto of the bill.
He’s one of the richest people in a Senate filled with millionaires. The Associated Press reports he and his wife own at least eight homes! Yet McCain says the solution to the housing crisis is for people facing foreclosure to get a “second job” and skip their vacations.
Many of McCain’s fellow Republican senators say he’s too reckless to be commander in chief. One Republican senator said: “The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He’s erratic. He’s hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me.”
McCain talks a lot about taking on special interests, but his campaign manager and top advisers are actually lobbyists. The government watchdog group Public Citizen says McCain has 59 lobbyists raising money for his campaign, more than any of the other presidential candidates.
McCain has sought closer ties to the extreme religious right in recent years. The pastor McCain calls his “spiritual guide,” Rod Parsley, believes America’s founding mission is to destroy Islam, which he calls a “false religion.” McCain sought the political support of right-wing preacher John Hagee, who believes Hurricane Katrina was God’s punishment for gay rights and called the Catholic Church “the Antichrist” and a “false cult.”
He positions himself as pro-environment, but he scored a 0—yes, zero—from the League of Conservation Voters last year.

Open Question: Why vote for some rich A$$hole that doesn't care about you?

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

They don’t care about you they have never cared about you. You work for them the minimum wage goes up $.75every 10 years while inflation rises 4%in the good years 12% this year. When was the last time you had a cost of living ajustment to offset the price gas and fuel? They deregulate every law that was designed to protect you from the real crooks (see Smoot Hawley act). I have been mugged once $80 but I couldnt tell you how much has been lost trust the bank, direct debit, insurance, lousy investments by 401 k managers and hidden taxes and fees. I am not afraid of crime I carry a gun but you can’t fight city hall.
Neither of these guys is going to do anything for you because you are not in the club, you know the club of CEOs and Soveriegn Wealth fund Managers and politicians who get obscenely rich off the companies that hire you and erode your rights as a consumer and employee and then tell you that they will regulate themselves and their industries now that they are in charge and save you from the last guy, remember Bush was going to save us from CLinton he from Bush, Reagan was going to save us from Carter and on and on. Wake up!

Open Question: Would it be so bad if McCain won?

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

He’s not another Bush. He works with Democrats. He’s not a Christian fundy.
Would it be so bad?
